What is Jam-Free™ Technology?

Polymaker’s Jam-Free™ Technology increases the heat resistance of the filament itself (not the printed part) to 140°C.
This prevents jamming issues caused by heat creep in the hot end.

Heat creep occurs when heat spreads irregularly throughout the hot end, softening the filament before it reaches the melting chamber. This premature softening can cause the filament to expand in the cold end, resulting in jams.

By raising the filament’s heat resistance from 60°C to 140°C, Jam-Free™ Technology ensures smooth, uninterrupted extrusion and a reliable printing experience.

> ⚠️ Note: The printed part will still have the same heat resistance as standard PLA — approximately 60°C.

Printing and Drying Settings

Printing Temperature: 190°C – 230°C

Bed Temperature: 25°C – 60°C

Printing Speed: 40 mm/s – 60 mm/s

Indirect (Bowden) Drive:

Drying Settings:

Temperature: 55°C

Duration: 6 hours

> Drying is only necessary if the filament has absorbed moisture.
