Can you use a 0.4mm nozzle with Panchroma™ Celestial?
Short answer: YES.

While our Panchroma™ Galaxy color range contains actual glitter particles that may increase the risk of clogging a 0.4mm nozzle, Panchroma™ Celestial uses an ultra-fine shimmering powder. This powder is non-abrasive and does not raise the risk of nozzle jams, making it safe for use with standard 0.4mm nozzles.

Note: Some users have even successfully printed with a 0.2mm nozzle using Panchroma™ Celestial.

How strong is panchroma celestial?

Strength & Rigidity: With a tensile strength around 50 MPa and stiffness of ~3.4 GPa, Celestial is comparable to standard PLA—ideal for aesthetic, everyday prints such as decorative vases, figurines, cosplay props, and more.

Layer Bonding: The Z-axis strength (~40 MPa) shows good inter-layer adhesion, meaning your prints will be sufficiently durable and not fragile in the layer stacking direction.

Impact Resistance: A Charpy impact rating of 3.3 kJ/m² is modest—fine for display pieces but not suited to high-stress or load-bearing applications.

Thermal Limitations: The Vicat softening point (~63 °C) indicates the filament will soften in warm environments (like inside a hot car), similar to standard PLA.

Printability: It works with typical PLA settings—no special nozzles required, prints well at standard speeds, and the fine pearlescent powder adds shimmer without causing clogs .
