 What is a High-Speed Filament?

A filament is considered "High Speed" if it meets the following three key performance criteria at a specific printing temperature:

1. Flowability
It must extrude consistently at 24 mm³/s using standard extrusion systems.
(Equivalent to 300 mm/s print speed with 0.2 mm layer height and 0.4 mm nozzle)

2. Formability
At the same high speed (24 mm³/s), the filament must maintain comparable surface quality, bridging, and overhang performance to prints made at lower speeds.

3. Functionality
It must retain at least 80% of its mechanical properties — including layer adhesion, tensile strength, and impact resistance — compared to prints made at lower speeds.
