PolyLite™ PLA is a high-quality PLA designed for reliability and ease of printing. The Luminous Series is a vibrant, glow-in-the-dark PLA — perfect for your most creative and eye-catching projects.
> Note: A hardened nozzle is recommended for regular printing with this material.
What is Jam-Free™ Technology?
Polymaker's Jam-Free™ Technology increases the heat resistance of the filament itself (not the printed part) to 140°C. This innovation prevents jamming caused by a phenomenon known as heat creep.
Heat creep occurs when heat travels irregularly up the hot end, softening the filament too early, before it reaches the melting zone. This premature softening can cause the filament to expand in the cold end and result in clogs or jams.
By increasing the filament’s heat resistance from ~60°C to 140°C, Jam-Free™ Technology ensures smooth and reliable extrusion, especially during long prints or in printers with poor thermal management.
> ⚠️ Note: The printed part will still have the same heat resistance as standard PLA, approximately 60°C.

How Strong is PolyLite™ PLA?
PolyLite™ PLA is formulated using a high molecular weight PLA from NatureWorks, making it one of the most rigid PLA materials on the market.
For a detailed look at its mechanical strength, you can refer to the Young’s Modulus and Bending Strength values in the Technical Data Sheet (TDS). These values reflect the material’s rigidity and allow direct comparison with other products in our portfolio.
